Welcome to Seventh Wave restaurant in Swanage. We are a licensed restaurant & cafe in the beautiful setting of Durlston Castle and Country Park, Dorset.
We boast some of the best coastal sea views on the Jurassic Coast. Menus are built around local ingredients, with something for everyone — and almost every dish can be adapted for vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free guests. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

A handful of dishes that regularly appear on our boards — fresh fish from boats you may see from the window, castle-morning breakfasts, and coffee with cakes from local bakers.
Full English Breakfast
A hearty cooked breakfast including prime cut pork sausages, unsmoked back bacon, field mushrooms, eggs, and baked beans. Tasty vegetarian and vegan alternatives are also available.
Greek Salad
Isle of Wight tomatoes, crunchy cucumber, red onion, pitted mixed greek olives with crumbly feta cheese mixed with a red wine and oregano dressing. Vegan option is also available.
Soup Of The Day
Regularly featured on our specials board, using fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. A popular winter warmer served with a mini tin loaf and butter. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available.
Steak Burger
Aged chuck and brisket steak burger with smoked streaky bacon, Monterey jack cheddar, baby gem, tomato, house burger sauce, onion rings, and either: triple cooked chips or French fries. Gluten-free and vegan alternatives available.
Coffee and Cakes
100% fresh ground arabica beans produce a strong, wholesome coffee, full of flavor. Our cakes are sourced from specially selected local and other bakers.
